szuterén, félszuterén basement level, semi-basement level Explanation: Szerintem így meg lehetne különböztetni a basement-től -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 3 hrs 24 mins (2004-11-18 14:54:14 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- http://www.dlrcoco.ie/planning/planlist/2004/APPS36.htm és még sok más példa |

szuterén, félszuterén uderground level, semi-underground level Explanation: underground level http://fcit.usf.edu/holocaust/resource/gallery/bjm2.htm semi-uderground level http://www.floornature.com/worldaround/articolo.php/art91/3/... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs 29 mins (2004-11-18 13:58:53 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Megjegyzem, a cellar, mint Juvera irja, más. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 3 hrs 36 mins (2004-11-18 15:05:41 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Az emlitett értelmezési korlátozás arra az esetre vonatkozott, amikor nemcsak basement van, hanem underground level is. |

szuterén, félszuterén basement Explanation: 'pince' should be called 'cellar' 'szuteren' is 'basement'(basement level)according to ProfiLexicon Technical Dictionary Hope this helps a little. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 17 mins (2004-11-18 11:47:38 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- \'Semi-basement\'- a basement that is only partly below ground level. (according to http://www.criterium-simpson.com/termsearch.asp?letter=s) -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 26 mins (2004-11-18 11:55:51 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- The web site spells the word as one word : semibasement -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 13 hrs 28 mins (2004-11-19 00:58:09 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- A humble suggestion: pince = basement(however, cellar is the correct term) szuteren = underground floor, level(basement should be used here) felszuteren = semibasement; (elevated basement can be more or less than half way up from teh basement level.) |

A stoop/step is always in front of the main entrance of the building and an elevated basement, which may have a window that opens toward the sidewalk. http://www.design.upenn.edu/his_pres/student/studio2003/desi... A kép alapján itt sem a járószinten indul a basement: The symmetrical Georgian style building is two stories with an elevated basement and hipped roof. www.cr.nps.gov/nr/travel/charleston/exc.htm Itt kuriózumnak számít külön említést érdemel, hogy az elevated basement majdnem (almost completely) talajszinten van: ... It is remarkably well preserved for its age and appears well cared for. The house rests on an elevated basement almost completely above ground. The William Rand Tavern is a Colonial-era building constructed of brick and wood two lots from the Colonial-era courthouse in Smithfield, Virginia. Constructed circa 1752, the tavern is two stories with an elevated basement, and a five bay façade. The foundation and first story are parged brick and the second story is frame clad in weatherboard. The roof is hipped and clad in standing-seam metal with parged brick chimneys at the building ends. The interior plan is single-pile, single-loaded corridor with a perpendicular addition to the rear. The primary access is via a single-leaf door to a central hall with stair ascending to the second story. Under the stair is access to the basement, which has exposed brick walls, and wood, casement foundation windows. www.dhr.virginia.gov/registers/Counties/ IsleofWight/NR_IsleofWight_SmithfieldInn_300-0037_text.pdf -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 19 hrs 49 mins (2004-11-19 07:18:50 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- A kérdéssel (alagsor / szuterén kontra pince dilemmával) a német > angol listán is foglalkoztak (no. 505913), ott egyébként szintén felmerült raised basement, ill. daylight basement: www.proz.com/?sp=h&id=505913 A KÉRDÉSÜK Sockelgeschoss One of the floors in a hospital I assume it\'s a below-ground level floor, but what would it be called in US-En?? One website calls it a basement, but that doesn\'t sound right. A válaszok kísértetiesen hasonlítanak a mieinkhez. |
