Hebrew term or phrase: revacha
I own a little carpet with an image of Moses. On the carpet there is a Hebrew text I should like to know more about it.
You can see an image of the carpet at http://www.amdentoom.nl/moses.html.
Ofer A.I. [[email protected]] gave me a good explanation (see below)
I would like to know your opninion and also do you know if the word revacha is in the Tora or Tenach?

Hi,

this is very interesting. I couldn't make anything out of the word. But, when i divided the word into two overlapping words, i got:
1. Keter = Crown
2. RevaCha = Welfare, wellness, good-being

Both have a joined letter "Resh".

As for the numbers on the stones, those are not numbers but rather the alphabet of the Hebrew language (from 1st place to 10th place).

Hope this helps.

Explanation:
the term is badly woven hebrew probbnably by some one (non jew)not necessarly understanding the hebrew. Moses was atrributed horns by teh christians as a mistranslation from teh bible. Also look at the ten commandments, teh 5th and 8th, (ה) (ח)are identical.

Thank you, I think the carpet is made for a jewish person living in Iran (the carpet is 50 years old). That person asked to put the text in the carpet and I think he wrote it done, but the knotter did not understand the text nor the characters.

Torah crown

Explanation:
This is almost certainly a misspelling of Keter Torah, which means Torah Crown.

The Torah is one of the 3 parts of the Tanakh.

I don't think the word revakha appears in the Old Testament (Tanakh), but I could be wrong.
