Amputation Explanation: Without an aneurysm, dissection or amputationץ -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2017-06-04 13:41:38 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- If this is cardiology, then it probably refers to an abstraction. The verb קטע refers to something being cut off. If no limb is being referred to, then I can't see it meaning anything other than an abstraction. Example sentence(s):

cut-off Explanation: in vascular surgery and in radiology, "cut-off" refers to a specific and diagnostic abnormal filling of contrast media in a diseased blood vessel, looking as if the vessel was cut off with a knife (=amputated), an imagery taken from orthopedics. In contrast: beaded filling of the vessel, aneurysmal filling of the vessels, tapering end of the vessel, as so on. eytan |
