fiberglass Explanation: The term does indeed seem to refer to fiberglass/glass wool (see the reference), but it is best to use "fiberglass," rather than "glass wool," since the former term is much more commonly used (and understood). "Fiberglass fleece" definitely should not be used -- it is not an accepted term. If you need to refer to a unit of fiberglass insulation, use "fiberglass batt" or "batt of fiberglass." While "glass wool" is an insulation material. (see 2nd reference). You should NOT use the term fiberglass if an insulation material is meant.
