peer agreement (net): -1System Analyst Explanation: I once asked an R&D manager (bilingual) about this. He said that the the steps in the process are called specification and the whole is referred to as analysis. So a person who produces specifications is a system analyst. In some cases, אפיון may mean design (not the graphic kind but in system architecture). In any case, characterization seems to me to be a literal translation and is not used in the hi-tech industry as far as I know. The fact that it appears on the Eitan dictionary is not sufficent verification, as there are more inaccuracies there.
