Hebrew term or phrase: תוקף כתב ההצבעה וסימון קיומה של זיקה
I'm translating a notice for the annual general meeting of a corporation. One of the titles is the one I'm asking about.
There is some explanation abt what it is, but I'm not sure.
Can anyone help?
בחלק ב' של כתב ההצבעה מוקצה מקום לסימון קיומה או היעדרה של זיקה ולתיאור מהות
הזיקה הרלוונטית

English translation:Validity of the Proxy Statement and the Disclosure of Ties
Explanation:
"A proxy statement is the common name for the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Form 14-A. It is the document containing the voting ballot and material information related to the propositions to be determined."
http://www.investinganswers.com/financial-dictionary/laws-re...

"Proxy statements often reveal the relationships between board members and management (i.e., family ties, prior professional relationships, etc.)" Ibid

A few other possibilities - you could play around with the wording slightly:
Validity of the Proxy Statement and the Divulging of Relationships.
Validity of the Proxy Statement and revealing the existence of ties/relationships.
It's all synonymy really - but given it's a title, you might want to keep it as short as possible, hence the main suggestion in the box above (the shortest and most idiomatic).

Hope this helps.

*Also, I realise that "zika" is singular in the Hebrew, and if you wanted to stick closer to the Hebrew you could also translate it in the singular:
i.e. "disclosure of a tie/relationship"
...but with all things being equal and unless a very specific tie is being referred to (hard to know with the context given), my opinion is that it sounds better pluralized in English.

**"In part "B" of the proxy statement, there is a designated space to disclose the existence or absence of a relationship and to describe the nature of the relevant relationship."
I would say that they are referring here to the disclosure of private or professional relationships/ties as described in the link above.
