constant error / constant uncertainty Explanation: Σε περίπτωση μετρήσεων ή δειγματοληψίας μιλάμε ορθότερα για "αβεβαιότητα" και όχι για "σφάλμα". Η χρήση του όρου "σφάλμα" είναι όμως τόσο συχνή που δεν κάνει πλέον σε κανέναν εντύπωση. Και εσύ βέβαια δεν μπορείς να διορθώσεις την πηγή σου. Προτείνω λοιπόν το constant error. ( To "standard" θα πρέπει να το απορρίψουμε γιατί αναφέρεται, όπως σημειώνει ο Νίκος, στο "τυπικό" σφάλμα, απόκλιση κλπ, που είναι εννοια της στατιστικής, συχνότητα χρησιμοποιούμενη στη θεωρία και πράξη επεξεργασίας σφαλμάτων (εξ' ου και οι συχνές αναφορές), αλλά είναι άλλο πράγμα. ) |
