The sworn Explanation: Το λεξικό του Μπαμπινιώτη γράφει ότι "ο ομνύων" σημαίνει ο άνθρωπος "που δίνει όρκο ή που παρέχει ένορκη διαβεβαίωση ή που παίρνει όρκο". Η λέξη “affiant” σημαίνει "άτομο που παρέχει ένορκη διαβεβαίωση", και δεν πιστεύω ότι ταιριάζει σε αυτή τη περίπτωση. Συνεπώς, προτείνω “the sworn” που σύμφωνα με το δεύτερο τόμο του Shorter Oxford English Dictionary σημαίνει "the person who has taken or is bound by an oath”. |
