(TV) characteristics Explanation: Although Ide and Tanaka talk about data (a possible translation of στοιχεία), it seems to me the author is probably using the word to mean "characteristics" (as in grammatical/semantic characteristics) Have a look here and see what you think: http://reference.kfupm.edu.sa/content/s/e/semantic_analysis_... Note also that earlier in the same paragraph the author also uses "τηλεοπτικά στοιχεία" with reference to Echo Fields. Here I think the meaning is "elements" (as in message elements).
