Ο προβληματισμός μου σήμερα: το μοσχοπίπερο.
Είχα την εντύπωση (ενδεχομένως και εσφαλμένα) ότι ήταν το ίδιο με το μπαχάρι, κατά τον Καρδούλη οι αποξηραμένοι καρποί του Aframomum melegueta (Παραδείσιος κόκκος, Ινδοπέπερι) > Grains of paradise, Guinea grains, Malaguetta, ώσπου εντόπισα συνταγή του Jamie Oliver για στιφάδο (συνταγή όπου έχω και το δικό μου μοσχοπίπερο), στην οποία χρησιμοποιούσε Allspice berries, κατά τον Καρδούλη οι αποξηραμένοι καρποί του Pimenta dioica (Πανάρτυμα, Γαρυφαλλοπέπερι, Πιμέντα, Πιπέρι Ιαμαϊκής) > Allspice, Pimento.
Το μοσχοπίπερο κολλάει σε τίποτα από όλα αυτά ή είναι κάτι εντελώς άσχετο;

I'd avoid using "Pimento". Having read various sources on the net, I agree that it isn't incorrect; but most people, like me, will confuse it with Pimiento. If you do a Google image-search for pimento, you'll see that most pictures are actually of the sweet pepper, not allspice.
