German term or phrase: auf's Handy vs. auf'm Handy
Ich bin einfach neugierig. Hier in Berlin sagen die Leute "ich ruf' dich auf dem Handy an". Aber in anderen Ländern habe ich "ich ruf' dich auf's Handy an" gehört. Ich habe über das Thema mit einigen Freunden gesprochen aber sie einigen sich nicht. Soll das mit Akkusativ (auf das) oder mit Dativ (auf dem) sein. Einer Sache bin ich mir sicher: uber's Handy anrufen (aber das ist was anderes).

Wie man schon weiß, weht der Wind in Österreich anders als in Deutschland.. keine Frage: Wir sagen "Ich ruf' Dich am Handy an", aber (komischerweise :-))
"auf der Uni"... egal, ich tippe auf Dativ trotz unterschiedlicher Präposition. Normalerweise entspricht Akkusativ eine "Bewegung" und Dativ ein "Zustand": Derjenige, der den Anruf kriegt, "entfernt sich" nicht vom Handy, um ihn entgegenzunehmen, oder?
