Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Herstellung von aufgebrühten Getränken, wie sie oben beschrieben ist. In dieser Vorrichtung werden vorzugsweise Einmalkapseln verwendet, die ein tiefgezogenes Basiselement mit einem Rand aufweisen. Dieser Rand dient in der Regel als Siegelfläche für eine Deckelfolie, die die Kapsel luft- und aromadicht verschließt, mit der die Kapsel, nach dem Befüllen mit dem Rohmaterial, verschlossen wird, um die Kapsel in einer bestimmten Lage zu halten, als Anschlagfläche, damit die Kapsel nicht zu tief in die Brühkammer hineinrutscht, als Dichtungsfläche und/oder als Angriffsfläche, um die Kapsel aus der Brühkammer zu entfernen. Vorzugsweise ist das Basiselement konisch gestaltet. Vorzugsweise ist der Rand kreisringförmig ausgebildet.
