În patentul de aici http://www.surechem.org/index.php?Action=document&docId=2467... se scrie despre această proprietate la punctul ◦f) "Raffbarkeit Vor der industriellen Verarbeitung mittels Füllautomaten wird die Schlauchfolie in die Form einer Raffraupe überführt. Dabei wird der Folienschlauch längs der Schlauchachse gefältelt und anschließend im Verhältnis 30:1 bis 60:1 komprimiert. Die Folie muß der extrem hohen Knickbeanspruchung ohne Beschädigung standhalten."

Pe site-ul epatras.economie.fgov.be veţi găsi traducerea în limba franceză a patentului "Film tubulaire à cinq couches coextrudées orienté biaxiallement ayant au moins trois couches polyamide", unde la punctul f apare si traducerea acestui termen ca "aptitude à la contraction".
