Buongiorno a tutti,

Si parla di una Gasthaus in Svizzera:

"Der Schweizer Heimatschutz zählt das Gasthaus im Jahr 2015 zu den aussergewöhnlichen Gasthäusern, die ein ganzheitliches Kulturverständnis pflegen."

Non riesco a trovare un modo soddisfacente per esprimere il concetto di "ein ganzheitliches Kulturverständnis pflegen". Qualcuno ha un'dea?

Explanation:
A mio avviso, per "Kultur" si intende in questo caso la "tradizione" (culinaria, gastronomica, rurale) della zona in cui questa locanda si trova. Nel preparare i piatti, nel servirli, nell'arredare e curare gli ambienti, cioè, si rispettano fedelmente le tradizioni locali. Cercherei di rendere il concetto seguendo questa linea.

*la locanda è fra le più ossequiose della tradizione locale*
*è fra quelle che più fedelmente/ampiamente interpretano/vivono la tradizione locale*

"pflegen" implica un impegno, uno sforzo, un lavoro attivo: va ben al di là della mera concezione (Verständnis)
