Im Bairro Alto.Viele Menschen gehen hier abends aus, die Straßen sind überfüllt, weil die meisten Bars und Clubs wirklich klein sind und die
Leute vor die Tür gehen, das ist großartig im Sommer! Tagsüber habe ich beide Extreme vor der Haustür: sehr junge, hippe Leute, die in ihre Läden und Büros gehen, die immer trendiger werden; und die alten Damen aus der Nachbarschaft, die sich meistens gegenseitig ankeifen.

Non saprei come interpretare il termine hippe.

Continuando a pensare alla giustamente notata ripetizione di "trendy" in "trendiger", mi è venuto in mente che forse questo secondo "trendy", riferito agli uffici e alle abitazioni, si potrebbe anche rendere con l'italiano "di tendenza". Così non si perde il concetto e si evita l'orrida ripetizione. Un'idea! Ciao
