A me sembra di capire che si tratta di uno sbarramento del fiume. Il "bacino" che si è così creato ha fatto diminuire la cascata, che si trova a monte.

Asker: avevo cercato con diga del Reno, costruita negli anni '50, ma non ho trovato riferimenti, per cui ho pensato si riferisse a qualcosa d'altro

Asker: ma questa è degli anni trenta.... è stata uno cosa piuttosto grossa in SVizzera, sia la costruzione della centrale idroelettrica, sia l'opposizione ad essa all'inzio degli anni '50..... vorrei avere record più specifici.

Asker: avevo cercato vari documenti con l'espressione, qui per es. diga non mi tornerebbe: http://www.energiezukunftschweiz.ch/linie-e/pdf/Info_Kraftwerk_Augst.pdf

Asker: pensavo a una cosa tipo ristagno/condensazione, magari mi sto facendo troppi problemi, ma nei casi in cui non conosco la materia, considero gli altri altrettanto non edotti allo stesso livello mio e ho bisogno del conforto di un esperto..... ho la testa dura ;)

Asker: grazie Christel... l'area in effetti l'ho messa senza convinzione (anche per beccare una persona...;)

Asker: però anche geografia non mi sembra adeguata, forse è più ingegneria dato che in fondo si riferisce a una centrale idroelettrica.
