German term or phrase: der Reformer zuwächst
Prinzipiell wird zwischen Schlacke und Bims unterschieden.
Wenn der Reformer im oberen Bereich **zuwächst** oder Kohle sich mit Teer zu Klumpen verbindet, hat dies nichts mit Schlacke zu tun. Hier kondensieren z. B. erkaltete Teere und "verkleben" entsprechend vorhandene Teile.
Schlacke entsteht wenn Asche überhitzt wird. Diese wird dann bei hoher Temperatur von z.B. 900°C flüssig und durch Erkalten wie Stein (Sintermaterial). Dabei bilden sich Verlegungen im Reformer.
Einfluss darauf hat in erster Linie das Hackgut. Je mehr Rinden und Nadelanteile umso größer ist die Gefahr der Schlackebildung, da diese maßgeblich für den Anteil der Asche und den Ascheschmelzpunkt zuständig sind.
