Explanation:
Es ist ja gemeint, dass dieses Weinbaugebiet eine einzige, ununterbrochene Fläche ist im Gegensatz zu den Weinbaugebieten mit einzelnen, nicht miteinander verbundenen Anbauflächen.
Vielleicht dient mein Vorschlag auch nur dazu, das "richtige" Wort zu finden.
