To be honest, even after googling I do not know what this refers to (Paying bills, i.e. settlement? Balancing financial or customer accounts? Offsetting? Other?) and have put compensation method for lack of a starting point simply because.

There is no software manual/reference material.

Any informed or intuitively formed ideas?
