German term or phrase: Bekleidungsteilen
Hi,

Does this mean "parts or items of clothing"? I have read this most carefully in its context ... some doubt remains.

Working outside our more commonly requested fields here.

DE:

Thanks,

Cheers,

garments
Explanation:
Since it seems that your text is referring to different items (that are maybe designed to be worn together), rather than parts of one item of clothing (trousers and presumably sleeves belonging to a jacket), I'd plump for items of clothing (your suggestion) or garments.

To asker: Yes, of course - I merely meant to vote for the items/garments option over parts. (I think a voting option would be a useful addition to Kudoz, in such cases where the asker themselves is torn between options).

Notes to answerer
Asker: That Bekleidungsteile/Teile normally means garments (i.e. items of cothing, perhaps) should be clear. I was just a bit unsure about it here where overlapping and sleeves (these representing only a portion of your jumper and such like) are mentioned. However, I think, upon rereading this carefully, that you are correct in saying this means garments (or items of clothing, maybe) in the context at hand.
