German term or phrase: Polyacryl
I'm translating some product descriptions for articles of clothing, with different fabric contents (100% Baumwolle, 100% Polyester, 100% Polyacryl, etc.)

I've seen this word in many contexts before, but I'm still not totally sure on its meaning. There is the word "polyacrylic," of course, in English, but this seems to be mainly used for paint, not often for clothing. The term acrylic is used very frequently for clothing, but is it actually a different material than polyacrylic? You can also say poly-acrylic in English, or even occasionally poly/acrylic.

I guess I want to know, once and for all, what's Polyacryl?

Thanks!
