Re. a call for papers for a conference. Does this mean that the papers that are accepted will be presented during the conference and published in the minutes of the conference, or how would you understand "zur Veranstaltung veröffentlicht"?

agree  John Speese: Yes, and I've been to a lot of these conferences and proceedings (rather than minutes) seems to be the most common term. I'd tend to use minutes more in an administrative sense.
