neutral  Stephen Sadie: any references or just racing to be first?//me?? cynical? or just having fun whilst working on a sunday again...?

-> That was unnecessarily cynical! It is a scientically recognised meaning and both medical (Peter Reuter) and scientific dictionaries (Gerhard Wenske) also refer to "spatial"

agree  Claire Cox: Not so much working as checking my e-mail - I suspect it's addictive!

-> Thank you - and for working on a Sunday

agree  Kcda: Correlation or relation/ship both correct! My preference among relation/ship is "spatial relation" (grammatically, within context of the sentence).

neutral  Kcda: I am afraid you were not on top-form at this instance! I fail to see how "connection" could be brought in connection/conjunction with Zussamenhang! The word is essentially a relation of something to another respectively correlation is also correct.

agree  Stefanie Egenhofer: I asked a specialist and this is the correct term in this context.

agree  Kcda: Technically speaking correlation or relation are both right! For the sake of keeping things simple "relation/relationship" is better.
