Entdecker = person/employee who identified/found/detected the defect
Melder = person/employee reporting the defect

I finally came up with 'person reporting the defect'. I'll let you know which one I'm going with.

The defective part is marked with this form and is thus blocked for further use (form serves as a check-out slip).It is forbidden to continue to use locked parts.
Both the message and the marking is done by the discoverer (detector).

The defective part is tagged with (an orange?) sticker, rejected and removed from stock, stocking of rejected parts is not allowed. The rejection form, sticker is placed and filled out by the operator and inspector.
