N-up offset
Explanation:
Nutzen (N-up) is a printing term indicating how many original (pre-rendered) pages are composited onto a single page. I guess that Versatz (offset) defines the distance between the adjacent pages.

Thank you for the very helpful note. In my research I had wondered whether "N-up" was suitable to use as the term seemed obscure to me, so I used "exemplar offset" before I received your explanation!

Notes to answerer
Asker: In the meantime I had to submit the translation, so wrote "exemplar offset". But thank you for the very helpful explanation!

Im Druckwesen: Nutzen, Nutzenverteilung, 2er Nutzen
Zwei Begriffe gibt es: multiple-up printing (und sein Cousin n-up printing wie 2-up, 3-up usw.) und gang-run printing.
Der feine Unterschied:
wenn die Drucksachen identisch sind = multiple-up printing.
Wenn sie unterschiedlich sind = gang-run printing.

Usually, Nutzen is multiple-ups (here, it's 4-up sheet). However, Nutzen can also refer to the indiviual copies or parts that the multiple-up sheet is made off. That's how Nutzen is used here - one of the 4 copies hasn't been placed in the correct position, causing the problem.
