Bei einzelnen Schächten zur Förderung eines Erdöl-Clusters besteht auch die Möglichkeit,
dass eine erste Teilmenge an Kohlenwasserstoffgemisch oberhalb des Bohrloches
zugeführt wird, um die Transportfähigkeit des schweren Rohöls zu verbessern. Die Erdölschächte eines Clusters werden zusammengeführt, wobei nach dem Zusammenführen die Fluidströme vermischt und in einer Massenabtrenneinrichtung Wasser und Ölbegleitgas abgetrennt werden.

I know this is some type of separation device or separator but not sure how to translate the Massen part – substance separation device or separator?
