  -> No, it is oil FOR manufacturing processes. That's what to me the German term suggests also.

  -> Yes, the A/C is back up. I've seen the Wikipedia entry but couldn't find another source using "processing oil" that way. In turn, I found Shell's own use and that of Petro Canada sufficiently convincing.
