erh.

English translation: short for "erhoben", here "recorded"

Medical - Medical: Health Care
German term or phrase: erh.
Ihre Zeichen / Ihre Nachricht vom / ***erh.*** Aufenthalts-Nr. (bitte angeben) / unsere Zeichen / Datum

I never saw that before. Not sure what it could mean? "Erhaltene" maybe? Does not make much sense to me.
Any suggestions?

English translation:short for "erhoben", here "recorded"
Explanation:
The document you posted as a reference contains no occurrences of "erh." with full stop. It does however contain"erh" in P.57, Para.3 line 5, the word "erhoben. And in view of my earlier question re "Aufenthalt", I think this is your answer. "Assigned" does not appear correct, while "recorded" fits nicely.

Incidentally, there are dozens of occurrences of "erh" in the middle of words, such as "verhindert" and "innerhalb", but not in the table on P.45.
