Explanation:
In blenders, this is simply called a lid. The hole is standard in most blenders. Additive infers that the added ingredients are (only) preservatives, colorings, stabilizers, etc. I assume they are not exclusively such unsavory items, but include sugar or flour or what have you, that is added during the blending process.
