Die Untersuchungen haben gezeigt, dass der große Schmiederohling im Außenbereich einen Gefügezustand aufweist, der demjenigen des Schwerpunktwerkstoffes hinsichtlich der Zugfestigkeit und der Härte ähnelt, jedoch etwas größere Körner aufweist.

Bei 180 °C weisen auch die dem Außenbereich entnommenen Proben des großen Schmiederohlings niedrigere Lebensdauern auf als die Proben aus den kleineren Rohlingen des Schwerpunktwerkstoffes.

Die LCFLebensdauer des hier untersuchten Schmiederohlings ist bei allen untersuchten Dehnraten und Temperaturen geringer als die des Schwerpunktwerkstoffes.
