senior/upper management team Explanation: I'd say this task is the responsibility of the senior/upper management team. Compare with this: "It is the responsibility of the senior management team to identify key success factors in the current time period and to develop resources and capabilities to meet these factors in the current time period." https://books.google.com/books?id=eKe4Iok06H4C&pg=PA18&lpg=P... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2020-01-26 14:34:16 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- "Rather, this task is the responsibility of the entire senior management team (top management and divisional chiefs) who treat their job as a collective endeavor." I think it's more effective to use 'team' to describe senior management in the first part of the sentence but less so in the second part. "As a team" is a worn-out cliche that needs to tweaked occasionally to retain its meaning. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2020-01-26 14:36:08 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Correction: needs to be tweaked |
