German term or phrase: Prozentuale Längenverschiebung
This term is used in a powerpoint presentation describing a company's translation management process. It refers to the change in the length of a text when it is translated from the source language into the target language, e.g. German to English. In this case the percentage is 33%. I'm not sure of the correct term for this in English however. I am considering the following possibilities:
The original sentence is "Prozentuale Längenverschiebung in die Zielsprache"
1. percentage of length shift
2. percentage of length variation
3. percentage of length change

I would appreciate your feedback and suggestions - are any of my suggestions appropriate or does anyone know the appropriate term in English? Thanks for your help
