Hi guys,

Could you help me out with "auslegen" in the following context?

"Der Teilnehmer hat eine Bestellliste an EWS zu senden oder eine Ausrüstung mit dem EWS-Vertrieb auszulegen"

Here are the preceding and following sentences for more context:

"Der Teilnehmer hat das Recht das erworbene EWS-DMQP TOOL CERTIFICATE zum Bestellen von Produkten aus dem Standardprogramm von EWS für die neue DMG MORI Maschine zu verwenden. Der Teilnehmer hat eine Bestellliste an EWS zu senden oder eine Ausrüstung mit dem EWS-Vertrieb auszulegen. Vorausgesetzt die Bestellung trifft zeitgerecht ein, so wird EWS eine Lieferung der Produkte bis spätestens 2 Wochen vor Eintreffen der neuen Maschine anstreben."

agree  Daniel Arnold (X): agree in principle, I'd however use "must detail the required equipment", or "specify". But your line of thought with lay out and scale is right.

In your context I would use "detail the required equipment". This means that they have to tell the sales people what equipment they need in all detail. It's the fallback option if the standard order form doesn't fit the requirements.
