Shadowing is not a peer-to-peer relationship. Second opinions do not necessitate a screen huddle.

shadowing / second opinion

Explanation:
Shadowing is a term used for when you are looking to see what someone else is doing and how they are doing it so that you can do the same or learn how to do the same as they are doing. The term is often used in business when a new person has to learn from a more experienced person.

Another option is "second opinion" but not sure if that works here?

Notes to answerer
Asker: That is very useful. Yes, X is the client. So maybe a collaborative review would be the best solution. It would seem to be a know term in German, is there no equivalent term in English?

agree  Björn Vrooman: Cf https://ericamedia.de/design/wireframing/ and https://www.experienceux.co.uk/faqs/what-is-wireframing/ Schulterblick is mentioned, as is review (also like present, though). In short, this has little to do with actually looking over someone's shoulder.
