German term or phrase: Bonner Zurich Direktion
Hi,

This is from a job reference issued by a Bonn area event management and catering service business so I was wondering
whether assuming that the source is lacking precision here is valid at all because these people are from Bonn (basically), which is or used to be one of the slightly more essential/prominent long-term sites of Zurich Germany (covering both the Assurance and Non-Assurance divisions of Zurich Group Germany - I think).

Well, I have had a close look here: https://www.zurich.de/de-de/ueber-uns/unternehmen/zurich-gru...

But then, now what ... ???

My draft:
[Listing responsibilities of short-term employee at client companies, i.e. on-site work done on behalf of the Bonn area event management and catering service business mentioned], which included administrative work ***at the front desk of the Bonn offices of Zurich Gruppe Deutschland [Zurich Group Germany]***.

I do know that the term "front desk" is less common in UK English. However, I naturally need to avoid repetition when creating texts. See receptionist appears in the same sentence.

Please could you guys translate -- only the part in asterisks -- below: "Eingesetzt als Service- und Thekenfachkraft, sowie Empfangskraft inkl. administrativen Tätigkeiten] "***an der Rezeption der Bonner Zurich Direktion***." into British English?

Thanks,

Cheers,
Sebastian Witte

Explanation:
That's what I would use.

It's not uncommon for Germans to inadvertently 'impose' English language patterns on their own language. Plural forms, stuff like ""Restaurant's Öffnungszeiten" etc..

Or make that "Zurich Group's German headquarters in Bonn", depending on whether their German entity had been mentioned before or not.

Right. Your solution doesn't preclude that at all. Thank you. (I understand that headquarters works for UK English, too, even though we did go with Head Office).

Explanation:
or providing catering for ... kann man sicherlich knapper formulieren
