German term or phrase: Gipfelkamm
"Es handelt sich dabei um migmatische Bändergneise, Migmatite und Amphibolite, die den **Gipfelkamm** des Kleinen und des Großen Reißecks aufbauen."

"Gipfel" is a crest, crown, peak, summit, etc., and "Kamm" is most likely "ridge." I haven't found any translations of the whole phrase, but an image search for Gipfelkamm yields photos that look a lot like saddle ridges. The only problem is that there are other words for saddle and saddle ridge in German. Is this an alternate term? (It's Austrian German). Photos of the "Kleinen und des Großen Reißecks" also look like saddle ridges with the small peak being only slightly smaller than the larger peak:

There is also evidence for "summit ridge" as a geologic term, so I guess what I'm asking is whether these two terms are synonymous (whether "saddle ridge" is a valid translation for this term, or whether I should stick with the more literal translation, which I don't like as well).
