This is for a tourism website - I am not sure how to translate durchbruch here. I have found breakthrough on google but many of the hits are to photo websites such as flickr, which could merely be direct translations by native speakers of German - therefore any assistance with this term would be appreciated.

neutral  Alan Johnson: All very well, but you are now talking about something completely different. Who was is it who said something about using translated German websites as references? Danube gorge and Danube breach are not the same, either geographically or geologically.

Upper Danube Gap


Explanation:
Frommer uses this one, too. I don't live that far from the Delaware Water Gap which gave me the idea..

"Stuttgart's location makes it a wonderful base for excursions to the Schwarzwald (Black Forest), Lake Constance and the fairy-tale castles of Sigmaringen in the Upper Danube Gap and Hohenzollern in the Swabian Jura."
