need to get more info or use "Idletown" Explanation: Based on the references on the internet, "Idletown" is the only English version of "Schlendrianopel." The "Schlendrian" in Schlendrianopel could stand for "nothing gets done (everything is idling)" or "it's not getting done right (people are doing a sloppy job, people are slacking off, are inattentive, play instead of work, or don't care, etc., or are purely helpless)", but that interpretation is based mainly on another game involving Schlendrianopel - "Chaos on the Central Station/Chaos am Zentralgüterbahnhof von Schlendrianopel" - see below (and note the wrongly translated Chaos "am" > "on"). "Idletown" is used on Jutta Behling's homepage (the english version - abc-ware.com) Mrs. Behling handles the shareware-use for this game's software. I guess that makes it pretty official. That does not mean it's the right or the best translation, and apparent mistakes made by whoever translated the game description previously could be proof of that. The general question - is "Idletown" really a good translation for "Schlendrianopel" is hard to answer. I did not find any definite information on why Schlendrianopel is called Schlendrianopel.
