This occurs in the heading of a German bank statement from a building loan contract. The heading itself is a list. The list is as follows:

Buchungsdatum / Betrag in EUR / Buchungsvorgang Prämienwirksam / Wert Gültigkeitsjahr / BWZ-Korr. / Fundstelle / BUT-NR / GV-Nr.

I do not have any idea what GV-Nr. might stand for. Any help is appreciated.

It probably simply notes or indicates the transaction number for each item listed on the bank statement. Especially if electronically produced. Which most transactions are these days.
But really just an educated guess. But might as well get credit.
