Bus/Financial - Finance (general) / Bank statement for loan payoff
German term or phrase: BUT-NR
This occurs in the heading of a German bank statement from a building loan contract. The heading itself is a list. The list is as follows:

Buchungsdatum / Betrag in EUR / Buchungsvorgang Prämienwirksam / Wert Gültigkeitsjahr / BWZ-Korr. / Fundstelle / BUT-NR / GV-Nr.

I do not have any idea what BUT-NR might stand for. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you for your reply, Anne. I don't think that this is actually correct for my context, although it may be for others. I am not going to enter this in the KudoZ glossary as such, but I am going to modify it to what I believe it is based on the discussion on my context.
