debt servicing or loan impairment Explanation: In general this would be debt servicing (all the financial obligations generated by having to pay interest on borrowed money) as a neutral term, but could also be debt impairment if emphasis is put on the capacity of the person/entity who has to make the interest payment(s) and who now appears to be unable to come up with the cash for the interest. The second term would be heard more often than not by those considering foreclosure during an evaluation of the indebted party. |
