German term or phrase: Durchlässigkeit
I'm currently translating a university brochure and this is one of the chapter titles:"Durchlässigkeit in den Studiengängen an der Hochschule Koblenz"

I'd really appreciate any help since I'm really struggling with this. The client doesn't want me to use the term "permeability".

Needing a rewording of course to "..accessibility across all courses at..", for example.

Explanation:
Could the intent be that there is an interdisciplinary emphasis, formally or informally or both?

Transparency

Explanation:
Hi Emily, I have had this issue too. Transparency has worked well in several contexts, especially in dance when describing the clarity and flow of movement, the dancer's open invitation for the audience to explore his or her expression. Clearly a different ballpark, may not work here if the chapter is focused more on the interchangeability, transferability or shaping of courses... but if it is about their accessibility and comprehensibility, maybe it fits!

In the Linguee link below, there is one example of 'transparency' used in an academic setting, and one example of 'transfer opportunities'. Maybe those are also of interest.
