A slightly more neutral option if you do not have or cannot obtain an image or other confirmation.

A couple of my older general paper dictionaries offer this meaning for "Auflage".

Cassell's German-English Dictionary (1978)
Auflage - ... 6. (Cul.) garnish(ing);
Muret-Sanders (1987)
Auflage - ... 11. gastr. (Beilage) garnishings pl.

Although "tomato and olive salsa" and "tomato and olive relish" do indeed get plenty of googles, the German term receiving the equivalent googles is probably "Tomaten-Oliven-Salsa".
