German term or phrase: Knackies
This term appears in the settings display for an industrial oven used in bakeries:

000 MANUELL = manual
001 BRÖTCHEN = bread rolls
002 BREZELN = pretzels
003 PLUNDER = puff pastry
004 KNACKIES = ??????
005 REINIGUNG = cleaning
006 ABKÜHLEN = cooling

I was thinking "Crispy products" but this is perhaps too vague. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

English translation:extra crispy bread rolls
Explanation:
Is this ofen using extra steam for the baking process?

However, research showed that "Knackie" is a term used for bread rolls only.

Other than that the name is a bit off the wall, as "Knackie" is the German colloquial term for a prisoner / habitual criminal.

agree  Helen Shiner: 'crusty' though not 'crispy' for bread unless crispbreads are meant which do not come in roll form.

Knackig und frisch bis spät abends werden bei Hake

It's "crunchies" here, in case you haven't noticed this site. I'm not recommending it, but thought you might find the site helpful.
