Snack plate Explanation: Jausen teller is a plate, often also a wooden board, with a selection of breads, butter, cold cut meats and cheese, often with pickles or a small salad. It is eaten either at dinner time or a cold lunch. It is a term only used in South Germany and Austria. See also on Leo, it is explained well. |

cold platter Explanation: Jause is usually a snack in English, depending where you come from, but on a menu a "cold platter" probably comes closest to it's meaning. |
