a) Thanks for your clarification in the "Notes to answerer" box.
b) "It is a bit of fabric acting as a bracket", you say. I'm afraid I don't understand 'fabric' here. Surely it can't be 'cloth'. A 'fabricated structure' is what you mean, perhaps?

Notes to answerer
Asker: No definitely not - I think that Armorel could be right. It is a bit of fabric acting as a bracket on the back of the Notebook sleeve that allows it to be propped up in landscape or portrait format rather than just being held ( (iPad) so that it sits a bit like a picture frame on a table.
