German term or phrase: Anlaufstelle
Context:

Unter www.WEBSITE.de steht eine Anlaufstelle bereit, in der die wichtigsten Angaben zu einem vorgeschlagenen Beitrag erfasst und jederzeit bearbeitet werden können.

Re. a call for papers. I'm a little puzzled, does this really mean that you can add and edit the details about a paper you've submitted an abstract for (in response to the CfP) or can it also (as I would have expected) be understood as being an ordinary "Anlaufstelle" on hand to answer questions and provide further info?

Here this evidently just means a web page, rather than an actual point of contact in the true sense, as confirmed by Andreas Regner.

location

Explanation:
With 'webpage.de', an online location [source] is available for all key points of a submitted paper to be highlighted and edited at any time.

Probably some pseudo-wikipedia

submit and edit

Explanation:
I do understand the statement as if you can SUBMIT the details to or an abstract of a suggested paper and as if you are also able to EDIT these details online.

You're right, they aren't synonymous...therefore facing the given context I would prefer "details" instead of "abstract"...

Indeed I think it is a contact point (point of contact) although I agree that the purpose seems not to offer to get in contact with any representative of the respective entity.

I think the alternative of "location" by <gangels> is also useful...

Notes to answerer
Asker: Yes, but does it really mean the abstract? As I understand it, this is separate from submission of the abstract. Surely "die wichtigsten Angaben zu einem vorgeschlagenen Beitrag" and the "Kurzfassung" aren't synonymous, are they?

Asker: But what would you call the "Anlaufstelle" in this context? It evidently isn't a "point of contact" if this is its intended purpose, is it?
