Tech/Engineering - Computers (general) / connections
German term or phrase: untereinander
This term appears numerous times in a description of a switching method and the connections between various pieces of hardware.

I've checked the Kudoz glossay, and those answers don't seem to fit.
Does **untereinander** indicate interconnectivity? (In which case my interface is interconnected with etc, etc)
Can I leave it out? (this was suggested at LEO)
Thanks in advance for your help.

interconnected
Explanation:
The only way I can make any sense out of this (particularly 'untereinander und') is to assume that the author understands 'verbunden' to mean a one-way connection and thus uses 'untereinander verbunden' to described a two-way connection (which could be rendered as 'interconnected' in English).

As an aside, the text reads like patent language of the sort that specialises in cramming the most possible meaning into the fewest possible words, often at the expense of comprehensibility. If it's not patent language, the author badly needs a basic course in technical writing.

thank you to everyone for the suggestions. Kenneth's was the most concise and worked best in the text, which is indeed a patent. But the author should still take a course on technical writing. :)
Thanks again!
