German term or phrase: verstehen sich in Schweizer Franken
Hi,

I understand that this, well, "means" "are understood to be in Swiss Francs" as per a quick Google countercheck.

However, I have on the one hand never liked this phrasing and often replace it by something along the lines of
"are quoted in Swiss Francs", which, then, fails to get the steak done properly here in this taxi app and web-based taxi booking context here (says who? Says me, viz. a vegan) - I think?

On the other hand, the translation is not only for the Swiss (i.e. a Swiss end customer), but will in regard to those cab services for that urbanized area obviously also be read a lot by Swiss residents who are not 100% at home in German (I understand Switzerland is supremely popular as an expat destination) when hailing a taxi and who are already used to certain expressions found in English-Swiss T'n'Cs and are guided by those.

To use high-quality German English, Swiss style, (this is not Denglish, I believe!) or to fully anglicize? If you recommend the latter, how would you do that?

I have not used British spelling here but the target variety still is English/UK.

Best regards,
Sebastian Witte

Are given in Swiss Francs, are in Swiss francs. Right. I am a bit disappointed to see this one was downgraded to Non-PRO by these translators. But then, as they say, be sure to not let get feelings in the way of things (or business).

are deemed converted into Swiss francs

Explanation:
A lot of narrative but still not enough surrounding context, to wit: if the cab fares are actually shown in euros but are then converted, like the Swiss dessert of vermicelles mit Rahm deemed for vegans to be converted in Austria into Mont Blanc mit Schlagobers.
