Monographs in German publishing terms are books about the entire life and oeuvre of an artist. The distinction here is between that category and a book, say, on Picasso's Demoiselles d'Avignon.

I would just leave it out and put a translator's note explaining why. They've already said "monographs", which can be about individual artists or works.

Yes, in this case then it is books (?) about individual artworks. I can't immediately think how one might translate that. German publishing definitely makes much more of the distinction between monographs and other essays on art than we do in the UK. Maybe something generic, like "other art books", feeble though that is?

Unfortunately, the text below does not really elaborate on this as much as the other objects listed. It speaks specifically about catalogues, documentary films, etc. But then it does, however, speak about:
"Veröffentlichungen der Kunstvermittlung, die Kunstinterssierten und Unterrichtende eine vertiefte Auseinandersetzung mit einzelnen Werken ermöglicht..."
Maybe they are referring to these publications?

Werkvertiefung, in its broadest meaning, refers to an in-depth look at an artist's oeuvre. Can you please provide more information about what comes under this heading? Is it part of a museum's, bookshop's or publisher's website? It is not a very usual term, I don't think.
